Just upgraded to Final Cut Studio 2 (because of FCP 6) and also lost MPEG2-Export.
Finally got it working again. The key is that you must have a "correct" DVD Studio 3 (or DVD Studio 2) installation. With this software the "QTMPEGExport.component" came and it expects a correct serial number in "/Library/Application/Support/ProApps/DVD Studio Pro System ID". In my case the update to DVD Studio Pro removed the necessary keys from the file mentioned above. I copied the missing keys from a backup version of the file and now everything works.

I think we need to install the old DVD Studio 3 version for this hack to work. . . .
Is this true?
Where can we get this software?
