Due to the native res of the chip, the camera must capture 4:2:0 colorspace into a 4:2:2 codec (DVCPROHD).

What the fuck?!?!? Seriously, what's the point of this camera then? The "features" of P2? Ugh. Just like you say Josh, there are no magic bullets. Best just to get the best gear you can afford, make your movies now... and realize that all these cameras have serious drawbacks.</description>

		<description>I never went to film school but would encourage people in the business to attend seminars on subjects that matter. If you are going to attend any school, attend a good art school and really study light.
You could also attend a summer program at NYU or USC that would get you the cudos you may need to impress a director or producer to look at your work.</description>
